TRXDE OF THE MONTH: CALEB WILLIAMS

 This spooooooky month we recognize one of Chicago's very own star athlete, Caleb Williams. Caleb was born in  Washington D.C. and played college football at the University of Southern California. Caleb is now home with the Chicago Bears for the 2025 Fall season and he is taking the Bears to new stardom. Last season the Bears had a horrible 10 game losing streak that Bears fans are more than used to. Caleb Williams addition to the team has immediately shown improved results, leading the team to a 2-2 current season record. 

Caleb Williams is performing exceptionally well this season, with already more passing yards than any previous Bears Quarterback.  Caleb has an outstanding Passer Rating of 97.8% and a Completion Percentage of 62.3%. He has already made 8 Passing Touchdowns, which is one more than Justin Fields in 2021. Caleb's current statistics show how he has the potential to be one of the greatest quarterbacks the Bears have ever seen and bring them back from another losing season. 

So, of course, this month's TRXDE is amazing, so why hasn't anyone shouted his name to high heavens? It's because of his nail polish. Yes, his fucking nail polish. Caleb's nail polish has caused much controversy from older heads of the football world. They try to color this as a personality difference, but it is clear homophobia against a black man that isn't even homosexual. Caleb's defiance of gender norms has rattled the NFL and they have retaliated by not acknowledging his accomplishments and not giving him the credit he deserves. 

But that's okay, because we will. 

Congrats, Caleb Williams for being the TRXDE of the Month of October. We pray for the best in your career and for you to take the Bears to the Super Bowl!
